Kirsten Smith’s screenwriting credits include Legally Blonde, 10 Things I Hate About You, The House Bunny, The Ugly Truth, Ella Enchanted and She’s the Man . Before becoming a screenwriter, Kiwi published poetry in over 40 literary journals. She has written two YA novels, The Geography of Girlhood and Trinkets . She’s directed two short films, “The Spleenectomy” and “The Multi-Hyphenate,” and is developing her first feature to direct for Blumhouse. She has executive produced a number of films, including Whip It , directed by Drew Barrymore. She is currently writing Sister Act 3 for Disney.
